Week #5 Weigh-In

Lost this week – 3.8 lbs.

Total Lost – 20.0 lbs.

I have to structure my weekends better.  I tend to put on 3 or 4 lbs. every weekend.  I’m not complaining about being down 20 lbs., but it could be greater if I had more control on the weekends.

    If you’re losing 4 pounds in a week, I wouldn’t be too worried about the weekend. Once your weight loss slows down you can go back and tweak your weekends.

    For the weekends, consider duct tape and Chinese thumbcuffs.

    It works for me.

  3. I find the weekends can be a challenge too. But planning ahead helps — I like to have a special treat for at least one meal, something healthy, but that I don’t have often like a Fit and Free Pizza (available on line, no fat, only 252 calories and taste great). It also helps if I cook a lot on the weekends and packages meals up in the freezer – then I’m set for fast healthy meals during the week but I still got to play in the kitchen on the weekends. And of course there is always good old fashion sermon over at The Diet Pulpit to inspire you on the weekend. I’m sure the Reverend will have something interesting for Sunday Services.   5. I think I will have your 20 pounds here with (on) me soon. Now that I can smell and taste again since my surgery, it’s only been three years since I could do either, I am eating everything I shouldn’t just because I can enjoy it again!!! Godd and Bad all at the same time.

  7. 20 lb mark is great–keep it up! make sure the fridge is filled with all sorts of easy to grab healthy, low cal foods–that way at least you’ll be grabbing the good stuff!! keep it up!

  8. Weekends can be tough – I like to keep some air popped popcorn on hand (plain of course) – that way whenever I get the munchies I can grab a little bit and munch away. Keeps me away from other naughty nibbles. Rev. Salveo, remember laughter keeps the fat away!
