About

I’m dude who loves God, loves his family, and loves to worship!  I also have a dog, and a really old, fat, blind, and diabetic cat.  I’m fairly sure he won’t be with us much longer, so I’m sure you’ll get to live that with me.

I stuggle with overeating, and you’ll find much of this blog addressing my stuggles with weight loss, and life in general.   Hopefully, you’ll also be able to follow my successes as well.

 Feel free to challenge me, encourage me, stuggle with me, succeed with me, grow (spiritually) with me, shrink (bodily) with me, laugh with me, and sometimes even laugh at me.

    Hi Doug,

    Say “hi” to Joni for me. I’m still living in Oregon with my wife Karen. Got two kids now, Anneka, a girl, 5, and a boy, Adric, 2. I still play keys, and I started playing electric bass a few years ago. Got a 5-string and like to thump-the-funk. ;^) I work for HP (Hewlett-Packard) doing software testing, and love it. Doing a gig in a few weeks with a bunch of friends where we’ll do a bunch of Stevie Wonder, Motown, Toto, Funk, black gospel, etc.

    Yo Man!! I am so glad to see you. I’m still alive and not even in jail. Are you impressed? Be good. I…well..you know…I kinda miss ya. Say hi to Joni. I’m sure her voice is angelic as always.
